How to increase microphone audio volumn

I want to increase the volumn on audio clips from mic. Video fine except for the additional inputs.

I am having trouble getting into the mixer and gain.

Then change the "dB" up or down.

I opened a meter on the right hand side which is label mater. Goes from 0 to db. I have it at 0, narration is still too quiet.

I have produced over 100 videos but there are elementary. This is a step up for me.
