I have a video clip that's a certain size, and rather than stretch it to fit the canvas, I'd rather shrink the canvas to match the video clip. How do I do that? Currently using Premiere Elements 2018, but I assume most things should transfer over fine.

What is the resolution and what is the aspect ratio of the video? Premiere Elements has limited number of project settings, but it can be set to either 16:9 or 4:3.
We can probably help you best with the complete specs of your video. Open your video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text of that report and paste it to this forum.

Oooorrrrr you could just answer the question right away without being a pain in the a** by directing OP to click "Sequence" (whick is located in the top menu bar) then clicking "sequence settings" which then opens a menu that allows for the adjustent for the frame size: located under the video section. Remember guys, this guy is supposedly a community expert... what a joke.

Sorry for being a pain, but Premiere Elements doesn't work with sequences nor does it have a sequence menu along the top that I know of. Perhaps you're applying Premiere Pro solutions to the problem.
