Can someone tell me if you can sharpen a video in Premiere Elements?  If so, how?

Thanks!

I have v2021 so your screens MAY be different

In Expert mode click fx on the right side and then look within the pop up window for Blur & Sharpen

Found it.  Does not seem to work?  Cannot seem to apply it to the video?

There is a "Sharpen" in the FX section.  The range is extreme.  Very slight amounts seem to work.  The slider range is from 0 to 4000.  Skip the slider and use numbers on the right of the slider.  Depending on the clip, 0 to 30 can be effective.  Over 30 gets into the strange special effects range.

LATEST

I remember back in Premiere Elements 8 or 9 there were 2 effects I used all the time and they were great, Auto Sharpen and Auto Levels.  I have rarely edited video in the last 10 years or so (I do a lot of photo editing), but recently opened Premiere Elements 14 and I was very surprised to see a less comprehensive user interface (unless I'm missing something the Tasks Panel is gone) and those Auto effects are missing too.  I do plan on buying Elements 2024 (PSE & PRE) when they come out but would hope to find functionality better than what I had in 8/9.  Any thoughts, everyone?  Thanks
