Installation Failed - Free Trial of Premiere Elements 2018

When I try to install the free trial of Premiere Elements I got the error shown below. "Adobe Genuine Software Verification Failure". Since I downloaded the software directly from Adobe, there should not be any trouble with the verification. I have already tried the limited troubleshooting tips that Adobe offers and now I am hoping that someone here will have a different idea. I was hoping to test this program out & decide if it would be a good fit for me, but so far I'm thinking Adobe is not good.

Could you please share the exact version of Windows 10, there are many releases done by Microsoft for WIN 10.

This can be done by following the below steps:

1) Click on windows button at the left bottom corner of your computer

2) Type 'WINVER'

3) Press ENTER

A window will appear which looks like this:

Here you can see the exact version written as OS Build 15063.966.

Could you please check what version of WIN 10 are you using?

Thanks

Did you extract the Zip file before you started your installation or did you try to install from within the downloaded Zip file?

Also, do you have any other versions of the program installed on your system?
