Login in requirement unnecessary for purchased software. Please STOP

Is there any justification for having to login to use software I have purchased and registered more than a year ago?  It took 20 minutes to "login"  I just what to use the software I purchased.  My premiere was unusable because of a poorly written update script.  Adobe's solution was to have some one remote into my computer???
