I made the mistake of wearing a shirt that is the same color as the background so it looks like my head and hands are floating in space. Is there anyway to fix that. Note: I am definitely a beginner when it comes to video or anything visual. Here's the link to the song https://youtu.be/Vb_orD_Wn4M

Thaanks for any advice.

This video is my answer to anyone who tells me that they can't sing. The fact is I was truly terrible when I first started and whenever anyone compliments me, I am thoroughly amazed. So whenever anyone requests a song that was done by Sinatra or Tony Bennett I tell them I don't come from the ...

Yes, there are a few ways to fix this issue in Adobe Premiere Elements.

One way is to use the "Ultra Key" effect to remove the background color from your footage. Here are the steps:

  1. Drag your footage onto the timeline in Premiere Elements.
  2. Go to the "Effects" panel and search for the "Ultra Key" effect.
  3. Drag the "Ultra Key" effect onto your footage in the timeline.
  4. In the "Ultra Key" effect settings, click on the eyedropper tool next to the "Key Color" option.
  5. Click on a part of the background color that you want to remove. You should see the background color turn transparent.
  6. Adjust the other settings in the "Ultra Key" effect as needed to fine-tune the effect.

Another way to fix this issue is to use the "Crop" effect to crop out the background color. Here are the steps:

  1. Drag your footage onto the timeline in Premiere Elements.
  2. Go to the "Effects" panel and search for the "Crop" effect.
  3. Drag the "Crop" effect onto your footage in the timeline.
  4. In the "Crop" effect settings, adjust the "Left", "Right", "Top", and "Bottom" values to crop out the background color. You may need to experiment with the values to get the desired result.

The ultra key doesn't seem to do anything. I am going to try to learn a little more about all this since I am really flying blind here. Thanks for trying. This is so not in my wheelhouse.

Ultra Key is busted: only works properly if you turn off the GPU.

Besides it wont do any good nor will cropping

Reshoot is your only option.

Not meaning any disrespect, I don't think I could have matched the shirt to the background like that if I tried.

I have to agree with Ann Bens.
