My SSD boot drive is getting full. My data drive has plenty of space. I did a search of the boot drive to see what was taking up so much space. Even though I have Premier Elements set up to use my data drive, I found a LARGE amount of files (quantity and size) in the Elements Organizer/Catalogs/My Catalog/VideoProxies folder. Video, JPG, and XML files.
I need to free up space on the boot drive. I assume I need to keep the files in the VideoProxies folder.
Q: Can I move the files? How do I do that so that they are still recognized by Elements?
Or just uninstall Elements from the boot drive and reinstall on the data drive? Rather not as I am running an old version and no idea where the original program is.
Have something to add?
