i was very familiar with Premiere elements 12 and had created hundreds of movie presentations over the years.  i had to change my computer so downloaded latest version of Premiere Elements. 2025.  I am really struggling with this.  Why did it have to change so much?!

Most long time established software does not look like it did 13 years ago.

Just stick with it, you eventually get the hang of it.

Meantime, you can work through my simple Basic Training videos. They may help get you up to speed.

Although I agree with you that some things were just easier and more intuitive in the previous generation.

Thanks Steve.  Yes I had looked at some of your training videos before I had posted.  I am still struggling.  In the older version there was a great button that one could push to make the video "zoom" in or out.  It made it bigger or smaller.  This is what I need to find.  I have no idea what it is called.  and I cannot find a similar feature in the new version.  I need to minutely edit my video.  For example I remove the "ums" and "aahs" of my speakers normally.  I can't magnify the video to be able to do such small edits.  Any help perhaps?? Thanks
