When I add media from files or SD card into new project I get sound but no picture just a black screen.
Have a new HD camera and did not have any problems before. Added old videos from files and did not experience any problems
Using same SD card with new camera that was used with old camera. Please advise.

Your VATTO camcorder is unique. I can't find a website to look up specifications. One sales site suggests it records video in 1080p at 30fps in a MOV file. Depending on what version of Premiere Elements you have, you may be able to get it working by installing Quicktime. Various versions of Premiere Elements needed to borrow codecs from Quicktime, especially for MOV files.
