no shadow/highlight adjustment??

I have just purchased premiere elements 2024 and since I haven't edited video since using Premiere about 15 years ago I wanted to go through some of the guided tutorials first.  The last one is for shadow/highlight adjustments and I have followed the directions, but there is no option under fx for shadow/highlight adjustment.  Has this feature been deleted?  Very odd, and chat service seem to be a catch as catch can sort of endeavour - I don't mind waiting as long as there is some estimate to go by, but after waiting 10 minutes with  no info I have given up.  Thanks a bunch for any help

That's correct. Shadow/Highlight is no longer included with the program's effects.

Shadow/Highlight not showing is a bug.

Adobe says they are working on a fix but don't hold your breath.
