Open a file created in adobe premiere 13 in adobe première 21

Hello,

I've created a project using Adobe Première 13 and I'd like tho finish it in adobe 21.

My computer crashed and i'can reinstall AP13. I would be very pleased to buy the version 21 but I wold like to open my older project done in AP13. I tried everything and all I get is the screnshot is the attached files.

 

Can you guys help me ?

I highly recommend you don't try it. Or if you do try it, make a copy of your orignal file before you attempt it. It will very likely result in complete corruption of that old project file.

 

Premiere Elements has never been truly backwards compatible. So, even if you do open the file, you'll likely find things in the project don't work well.

 

The advice I give in my books is to always finish your work in the same version of the program you started it in.

That image indicates that Premiere Elements can't find the media used in the project.

Do you have the original media used in the project?

If so, you will need to have the media installed on the computer and relink them.
