Opening the Photo Editor

I can't open Photo Editor.  It doesn't matter if I try to open it when I start the Photoshop Premier Elements program, or if I'm in Organizer.  The little twirly thing twirls, and then nothing happens.

Can you open it directly from the exe file in Program Files?

I don't know how to do that.  UPDATE:  I kept trying, and FINALLY I was able to open photo editor -- it took several between the time I clicked on it, and it actually opened on the laptop.

Photoshop Premier Elements program

Premiere Elements is the video editor.

Photoshop Elements is the photo editor.

They are two separate programs. Do you have both installed?

Yes, I do.  I was able to open the video editor, no problem.  But opening the photo editor was a problem.  UPDATE:  I was FINALLY able to open photo editor.  It took a few minutes between the time I clicked on it and it finally opened on the laptop.
