I'm trying to load a premiere elements 15 disk onto my new windows 11 pc. Part way through the install process I get a message to the affect that there is a security problem. I have no option but to click OK and the install proceeds. But when I try to open PREL 15, I get a message about the program encountering an "unknown" error and then cannot load any projects/clips/music. Is premiere elements compatible with windows 11?

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10 or Windows 11
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions

There is no way to know. Version 15 precedes Windows 11 by several years. Each computer has hardware variations. Nobody will have your unique combination. You might try google searching for "Windows Compatibility Mode".

I don't know the issue date of PrE-15 but as a test I installed Acrobat Pro 9 from 2008 in my Windows 11 - Zero problems
BUT... that is with my hardware and device drivers... as Bill said, nobody here can say what is going on with your hardware
