Premiere Elements 2021 hardware accelerated rendering does not work with all requirements met
i have tried the UHD 630 as primary adper and disable the pcie slot for the gpu and it still wont work.
it shows supported in the menu but the hardware encoding never becomes avalable. as seen here: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/gpu-accelerated-rendering---hardware-encoding.html
thigs i have tried:
reinstall prorgam
new intel driver
new clean windows on test ssd
differnt pc with simmilar specs same result no hardware encoding avalable
no dedicated gpu only intel igpu
more but i cant rember.
all the testing also had the fun sideefect of me having to contact adobe to reset my key becasue i have reached max number of activations i havent done this yet im sure it will be fun.

I'm using h.264 input and output
The Intel media SDK would be built in to Adobe...
It's not something the user would install.
Please pass this to the devlopers there is obviously something wrong here it does not work on any of my desktop systems that it should 4 9700k systems and 1 9900K system.
Only works on a laptop with uhd 620

me and you are talking about differnt things or you are confused as much as i want someone else to backup my claims here but i alrady have with 4 other simmilar systems.
you need an intel igpu for hardware encoding it looks like you dont have an intel cpu.
or if you are talking about decoding then your 3070 is not offically supported but they have been adding new gpus so hopefully they add the 3070 im am currently trying to get a 3080 strix for the past 5 months lol so i hope thay add that too.
but for me the decoding is not a problem

here a hopless chat with adobe
Hello, I'll be happy to assist you. Which features is broken ?
Me:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-elements/premiere-elements-2021-hardware-accelerated-renderi...
Pradeep
Please check the Intel UHD driver update date from device manager >display adapter.
Me:
i already have the latest
if you read the post you would see that
Pradeep
Yes but can you check the date.
you will find the date of the driver update in the properties.
Please share the date.
Me:
1/20/2021
Pradeep
Did you tried without hardware acceleration ?
Me:
yes that works but i bought the 2021 version for that feature
i have the 2020 version
with out that
9:09 PM
Pradeep
Can you please help with the VRAM of the NVidia card ?
Me:
the nvidia card has nothing to do with this but it has 8GB
as in the post i have tried completely removing it
i only care about the intel hardware encoding
Pradeep
I am sorry but you need intel hardware encoding for ?
Me:
faster rendering
Pradeep
The Intel UHD must be having 128 mb VRAM ?
Me:
it has way more than that it has 32GB
the intel hardware rendering works on other apps that have it only premiere elements is having this issue
9:16 PM
Pradeep
You also have a RAM of 32 GB ?
Me:
on 5 different pc of similar spec yes the 32GB of ram is shared between cpu and igpu that how that works
Pradeep
No, The VRAM and the shared memory are different.
Can you check in DXdiag for Display ?
Me:
the igpu shares system ram with the CPU where else would it get ram from
Pradeep
But for Higher Graphic display you need a dedicated display adapter.
Me:
the intel says 16GB but can be expanded to 32
just would need to change it in bios
yes and i have a 1070TI soon to be 3080 when i can get one
Pradeep
I am but display memory is the actual memory for the GPU.
Can you check in DXdiag >Display > Display Memory.
Me:
yes in there it says 16384MB
for the 1070Ti it says 24GB
8 dedicated 16 shared
Pradeep
But the required is 4 GB.
This will take the time. The render will depend on speed at which data is flowing that is SSD.
Me:
this is a joke goodbye
forward this to the developers
