Premiere Elements 2025 - VGPU requirements (graphics card)

Adobe consideres a minimun of 4 Gb VRAM in the VGPU to run Premiere Elements. Can anyone please tell me:

1.- Must it be a dedicated (independent) VGPU or can it be a shared one also?

2.- In the first case, what if the VGPU only reaches 2 Gb?

3.- Were it possible to use a shared GPU, does this mean that the 4 Gb necessary would be taken from the processor's RAM?

4.- In the case above, what would be the recommended amount of RAM?

Thanks everyone!

1 - GPU card with dedicated VRAM is better, shared system memory will work
2 - Only 2Gig VRAM 'should' work, but slower depending on what you edit
3 - Yes, shared means the GPU uses system RAM
4 - 16Gig is the minimum you should have, 32Gig is better

I have an Nvidia GTX1650 with 4Gig and it works well with version 2021

I said 'should' work I did not say 'would' work... I also said that my Nvidia card has 4Gig of VRAM, which works with my PrEl version 2021

If the newer version 2025 says 4gig of VRAM is needed I would not recommend going below that... while the program may work, you will most likely NOT be happy with the result

Thanks John, that's what I wrote, I quoted you exactly. Looking back at the Adobe page, in fact they recommend a VGPU of 4 Gb, then maybe this will allow as you wrote earlier. It's not a minimum, it's a recommendation. Thanks again.
