Projektelemente lassen sich nicht öffnen

Ich arbeite an meinem ersten größeren Projekt mit Premiere Elements 2024 ("Erweitert"). Ich hatte schon viele Abstürze und die Fenster springen auf meinen 2 Bildschirmen bei vielen Aktionen in andere Positionen. Gestern war das Fenster mit den Kacheln "Projektelemente" plötzlich frei fliegend, funktionierte aber. Heute ist das Fenster weg und ich kann die Projektelemente nicht öffnen. Es passiert einfach nichts, wenn ich drauf klicke. Nur der Unterstrich toggelt zwischen schwarz und blau. Es hilft auch nicht, weitere Medien hinzuzufügen oder ein ganz neues Projekt zu starten.

Ich arbeite mit einem neuen Laptop AMD Ryzen AI9 und AMD RADEON Grafik.

First, go to the AMD site and ensure you have the latest drivers and firmware for your Radeon graphics card.

Do you have more than one computer monitor? Are you working with two monitors?

What happens if you go to Premiere Elements' Window menu and select Restore Workspace?

thank you for the fast answer!
I updated the graphic driver today, but the problem is the same.

I use

Asus ZenBook S16 AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 w
-16" OLED Display UM5606WA-RK024W
2880 x 1800
24GB RAM
1 TB SSD
AMD Radeon 880M Graphic
and external (second) Monitor 27" 1920 x 1080

I'm afraid that the position of the "Projektelemente/Clips-Window" is outside of the visual field. I think this position is stored in a file, that I don't know. A new start of windows or Adobe Elements or New Project do not help.

After driver updade I started Windows 11, started Adobe Premiere Elements, started a new project, added new media (new 4k videoclips), but can not find them, when I want to open them. When I go to "Fenster/Windows", "Restore Workspace", main window (of video editor) and "Schnittfenster / cutting window?" jump to internal monitor (1).

Are you saying that you're using an external monitor on your laptop and that you have Premiere Elements on your external monitor?

If so, do you have these problems when you run the program on your main monitor?

I use an external LCD screen and the internal LCD display. Both operated by my Laptop.

I can push the main window and the cut window to the internal or external display or I can use both.

It works little bit better, if I use the internal display for the main window. But the problem is allways the same.

This small window "Projektelemente" does not open or is outside of the visual field. (It is part of the main window). Here I should see the video clips or photos or audio data to push them to the cut window.

I'm sorry. If you're editing on your main monitor and you're having this problem I am not sure what to recommend.

Does somebody know what I can do now?

Can I remove the program completely and install it again? Do I loose my licence with that?

I still can't open "Project Assets" in Advanced mode.

Is it possible to edit the file .layout24? Does there exist a description for this textfile?

Is there another hidden layoutfile with wrong positions of the "Project Assets control panel"?

You can uninstall and reinstall the program on the same computer as many times as you'd like. The license is linked to your computer.

Hello,

I removed Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements completely and installed them again.

This fixed my problem. But it is still very buggy (every day about 1 crash). I can't recomment Premiere Elements 24. Thanks Steve
