PSE 2025. Very slow to copy from SD card to computer and exporting from PSE 2025 to computer. It takes 3 hours to copy 1 hour of video and 2 hours to export to computer.

PSE is Photoshop is that what you are referring to? Or is it Premiere Elements.

Use windows explorer to copy files from SD card to computer with a card reader.
Then import these files into Elements.

No telling which codecs that switcher is using.
Meantime, if you look under the Edit menu, what is listed as your Sequence Settings? Do you see a yellow or an orange line above your video clips on your timeline?

Cannot find any info on your computer: it might be somewhat underpowered to run properly with 2025.
Export time depends on kind of clips are used and which effects have been applied, which in your case might not be gpu accelerated (orange line)

What kind of processor and graphics card does your pc have?

Processor is : Intel Core 7 -15OU. Graphics Card: Intel Graphics.
On Sunday I will copy the files over to my computer first and then into Premiere Elements to see if that makes a difference.
I had a chat session with an Adobe agent. The agent went into my computer and did some analytics. They said my computer only has one thread. (whatever that means) I then had a chat session with a Dell agent. They said my computer has more than one thread. Does this mean there is a problem with my computer?

Also let us know what type of camcorder your video is coming from and what the video's resolution and frame rate is.
