I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on Imac desktop. (10.13.6) -   When attempting to export my video photos, audio and text, I am getting message "Shake reduction is in progress or has encountered an error."  (in frech: Le processus de reduction des tremblement est en cours ou a rencontré une erreur) -

So I don't know what to do to fix it - I can't export my video. Can anyone help ?

Correct answer Steve Grisetti

What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what is the format and resolution of your video?

If you look under the Edit menu in Premiere Elements, what is listed on the General page under Project Settings?

Usually, in order to use shake reduction, your Project Settings must match the specifications of your video.

I think, you're right.

I use Gopro Hero6 -

So I'm trying with other video.

Thanks

Project settings depends on the footage.

If your footage is 1920x1080 so should your project settings be, also the framerate should match.

If you filmed in a odd resolution as in 2K you will never get the shake reduction to work.

Have to convert the footage to a resolution that matches Elements first.

Hi Ann,

is there an option on way to find out how I have filmed? 4K / 2.7K

I don't remember anymore.

1280 x 720, is this 2K?

so you say to convert my video's before adding them in to element.

I've seen posts like this before.  It seems that if pushed hard enough the needs of the shake stabilizer exceed the capacity of the computer.   Some have successfully processed single clips to an intermediate and stabilized file.  The the project is then created using "finished" clips.
