Shortcut to set begin-end with the work area bars

Question

I have an hour long video and I want to export a few minutes from "near" the middle to a new file... I've read page 81 in Steve's book, and watched a YT video, so I know how to go to both sides and drag the work area indicators inward to mark the section I want
 
What I am trying to find is a mouse or keyboard shortcut to have the work area bars "snap" to the current location without having to go all the way to the beginning and end of the video to manually grab the bars and drag them into place
 
Is there a way to make the work area bars jump to the current location?

What I have tried... A simple mouse click works to move the playhead to where the mouse is clicked... and Shift click or Ctrl click do the same thing

It would be REALLY nice of the PrE programmers could make a Shift click move the left work area indicator to the mouse position, and a Ctrl click move the right work area indicator to a mouse position to the right of the left work area indicator

Until then, if it ever happens, I guess I just move the work area indicators the old, slow way

I went to the 2021.3 announcement and sent a PM to Mohit asking for the shift/ctrl click change... you never now, 2021.4 may do what I need !
