Terrible export quality

Hello,I'm using the trial version of Premiere Elements and am having an issue with the export quality being extremely low.  Even the title card is not as clear as it should be.  I'm trying to export as a 4K video file on high quality (also tried it on mid quality).  The files I am using are both .avi and one of them comes out okay, but the other is just really low quality on export. File 1 is web cam footage and File 2 is a screen recording of my desktop.  I have disabled the hardware accelerator to see if that was causing the issue and it was not. I'm not sure if this is just a limitation of the trial version or if there is a setting I need to modify.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

As you can see, the video uses a proprietary codec called FICV, unique to the software you're using to record your screen.

You simply are not going to get good performance with Premiere Elements editing this video. I would look into another program. Try CyberLink PowerDirector.

These are not standard consumer video formats, so Premiere Elements can not set up your project to match your video. It's also likely this Mirillis screen recording is using non-standard codecs.

Open one of your video files in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy and paste the report it generates to this forum.

This will tell us what these video files are made of and what types of compression are being used. Once we know the specs, we can better recommend a course of action. But most likely Premiere Elements is not the best tool for editing this type and resolution of video.
