Tried to install Elements 15 and it keeps asking me to 'update browser' and won't get past that. New computer, current windows 11 with all the updates, tried several browsers and install always fails and I have to kill the installer in task manager.
I've spent several hours in 'chat' and have had nothing but problems. Account creation was a mess too - old account I have had for years just vanished. New account was finally created by tech support folks and shows my products so I can download them but they won't install and support is no help.
I'll try again in a couple of days - if it still won't install I will have to find other vendors.

Elements 15 is very old software from 2016. It was never tested or certified to run on the latest equipment and operating systems -- Windows 11.

Upgrade to modern Elements software that's compatible with your current equipment & OS.

I don't know if you can reconcile the browser disparity.
MS Edge replaced the now defunct Internet Explorer browser.
Edge didn't exist when Elements 15 came out.
Try switching your default browser to the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
Hopefully it works. If not, see my earlier post.

Thanks to all the responses - can't get past the brower update issue. While my software is 'old' it's great for me and I hoped to use it for sometime to come. I will accept that preputual has a different meaning with software than I hoped.
With the push to subscriptions - which I do NOT want as I only use this type of software a few times a year - I'll have to find a different solution. Also, forcing storage into a cloud site is also something I will NOT do. The new TOS for Adobe is a non-starter.
Thanks again - I'll now move on.

>forcing storage into a cloud site
Where do you see that? Using Adobe cloud for storage (or file sharing) is, from everything I have read, optional
You simply use your computer drive(s) and don't enable cloud storage

Almost the same issue. Use Premiere Elements 15 a couple times a year. I already pay 20.00 a month for acrobat pro and when I tried to open the program, it stated I already had the allowed number of computers using the software. I logged in and the only computers were my year old windows 11 and my windows 8.1. It has been working fine for the past year. So I tried to open on my older computer and it opens to the terms agreement install screen. When I try to reinstall it states unable to validate this serial number please contact customer support, and has a link. I hit the link and the following message shows up:
It may be blocked due to misuse – or because we no longer support new activations of outdated software and apps.
Upgrade your Adobe app or start a free trial to get the latest features and functionality.
It might be that even though I purchase this program and own it. Adobe has decided to make it non functional so that I will purchase a new program to pay monthly. If so, this might be actionalble as a breach of contract and maybe even considered a false and diseptive business practice under California law.
