Hello All. I have a new iMac M3 and am trying to bring over my legacy apps, like Premiere Elements 14, from my old mid-2011 iMac. But 14 won’t work: “Configuration Error 1”. So I downloaded a 2024 version, but when I tried to put in my valid v14 serial number, it rejected it (the 30-trial version works fine). When I chatted with Support, they confirmed that I had a valid Premiere Elements serial number, but  said I had to subscribe to use the 2024 version. However, I HATE subscriptions; I want to pay to own. QQQ: Is there a later-than-14 version of Premiere Elements that I could download, apply my valid serial number, and have it work on this new iMac? Possible? Thanks for any inputs.

Support was wrong... Premiere PRO requires a subscription... Premiere ELEMENTS is a one time purchase with a serial number... and your v14 serial number will not work in v2024

Hmm... just browsed your Family link, and it looks like I can get a 2024 “upgrade license” for $79.99. I’ll try that and report back. Thanks!
