Hallo
I am desperate: I finished a long video, and used the motion reduction tool once during creation. Now I want to export the video, and each time the export window shows the error code (maybe not 100% correct words): " Motion reduction still running or not working correctly- Please wait until finished or fix the problem"
I tried:
- deleting the motion reduction from the film by using the bin symbol
- undoing it with the respective symbol
- redoing the motion reduction (now 3 times in different versions)
- of course saving the file under a new name
- opening the film on a different device with adobe premiere 2018
Please help - I have no chance to export the file into a version I can use, now.
Thank you!
eva
This is a known issue with Shake Reduction in version 2018. It appears to be fixed (at least for me) in version 2019.
Hope this helps.

Delete clip from project.
Rename clip.
Import.
Do effect again.
See how that goes.

I assume, since you're editing video, you're actually asking about Premiere Elements.
But what is the motion reduction tool? I don't know of any tool with that name in either Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements.

On work around is to put the shaky clip in a separate project dedicated to it. Apply the Stabilization effect and output a file. Then replace the clip in the master project that is causing the trouble.
Hope that helps.

Hallo everybody
thank for all your good ideas!
In this case it was easy - I had to identify the clip that caused the trouble, then removed the antishaking action (by putting it in the bin) and then everything was ok!
Thanks to everybody!
