GPU Accelerated Rendering & Hardware Encoding/Decoding (adobe.com)
When I was using AP2020 I was able to use hardware-encoding option then exporting my clips. Some time ago I switched to AP2021 and that option is not available. It says that “hardware-encoding option is unavailable” however I haven’t made any changed to my hardware.
My Intel GPU enabled and visible in Task Manager.
Any ideas how to fix it?

Has anyone seen any further updates on this? I upgraded to Premiere Elements 2021 specifically to take advantage of the Intel UHD 630 in my new Dell desktop for Hardware Encoding (Not Accelerated Rendering, and yes, I know the difference) but despite upgrading all my video drivers I still only have "software encoding" (no option to select "hardware encoding". My Intel UHD Graphics 630 does show up on the "Use GPU accelerated effects..." section of Preferences -> General.

No they have not fixed it and if they release Adobe 2022 with it working I think they owe it to the people who specifically upgraded for that feature in 2021 for now it only works on laptops

It is still not working on my computer despite Adobe technicians tried to fix it several times doing various things. It’s it very frustrating as they are not even trying to help. They just closed the case.
I was hoping that hardware acceleration will also makes working with timeline much smother as there are some issues here when working with 4k videos.
I don’t know if I update to next version of APE if they treat their customers in that way.
I just want to and that they advised me to install trial version of Premiere Pro to check if hardware acceleration is working there and I did it and HA worked so my hardware can’t be the reason of the problems with APE
