trying to render in 1080p but premerie elements 2020 just freezes after 6% completion... what gives? program is useless to me if it doesn't render the video? my CPU gets pegged at 100%.. is there no way to offload it to the GPU or is there someway to help the CPU out?

Rendering is done on the cpu. Is your machine powerfull enough to handle Elements 2020.

I agree with Ann. We need a lot more information.

What operating system are you using? Which processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free space is on your hard drive?

How long is your project and what camcorder or device was your video shot with?

Are you able to output a 1-2 minute test project?

intel i7-5960x @ 4.4GHz.. 32GB RAM on W10 64bit

I have several hard drives and solid state drives each with at least 100gb on them others have 200gb or more..

video is a little over 10m long and video came from a phone

i haven't tested a 1-2min project yet.

the cpu gets pegged at 100% as soon as the create&export is executed and computer locks up shortly after that.
