Enhance speech in Premiere pro adds audible scratching noise to track

Hello! I have been using the Enhance speed functionality in premiere pro and it was working extremely well until very recently. It has suddenly started adding a very audible scratching-like noise throughout the dialogue clip. It seems somewhat random but when it happens frequenly enough to be abnoxious and deter me from using it in my videos. 

It's made me a bit sad because I felt like the audio enhancement was working extremely well until this started happening.

Version: Adobe Premiere Pro v25.5.1

Platform & OS: Windows 11

Repro steps: Use enhance speech on audio track, observe scratching noise as in example

Expected result: No scratching noise

Actual result: Scratching noises in audio
