In a specific project, opening 2+ sequences empties PPro's timeline panel, and Export never starts

I recently reported a memory error here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-bugs/unable-to-allocate-memory-error-is-back/idc-p...

...and that error then morphed into a much worse one where a specific project would cause PPro's timeline to become empty if I opened more than one sequence...so I thought I'd report that nasty bug specifically here.

If I open more than one sequence, the timeline shows absolutely nothing at all in it. If I then close all sequences I have open, then open ONE (and only one) sequence, everything works ok again. This bug is repeatable.

I've also tried creating a brand new project, and importing the offending project (or just a few selected sequences), and I get exactly the same error. I've also tried opening other projects (they work fine), and importing the offending project into that project - this also causes the same bug if I open any of the offending project's sequences. I could send you the offending project if you like?

Also, it is impossible to export ANYTHING from this project; however I try to export a sequence, nothing happens (I can right-click it in the Project panel, do Export Media..., or ctrl-M.....nothing happens at all and I can continue working in PPro). The ONLY way to export something is to drag the project icon (in Windows Explorer) into Media Encoder and select the sequences to export there.

I've just updated to PPro Beta 25.4.0 Build 58. I've tried the project in various other versions (back to 25.2.3 Build 4) and I get exactly the same results. PPro Beta Build 67 gives the exact same results.

Interestingly, I am unable to change the Project Settings > General > Video Rendering and Playback; it is stuck on Mercury (CUDA) and it is greayed out and impossible to change, even if I have no sequences open. If I hover my pointer over it, a pop-up says "This playback engine is active and being used for rendering".

Right - an update...I tried to narrow it down to an offending sequence/item, and, surprisingly, found that even if I delete ALL media/linked AE comps/mogrt files, I can still reproduce the issue. I have attached the project to this post; it has two sequences and NOTHING else. On my system, if I open one of them, it works as expected, but if I then open the second sequence, I can no longer drag the CTI or switch between the sequence tabs in the timeline panel; the panel then goes blank. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else can reproduce this problem.

Just wondering if anyone from Adobe has seen this?

Yep. just experienced all my timelines blanking out on the public 25.3 build when I opened up a second project. Trying to go to the export tab got me stuck in an infinite load.

Yes, if I go to the export tab, I just see the spinny blue circle of nothingness.

If everyone upvotes my bug report, then maybe Adobe might look at it?!
