Search field not accessible in Projects panel

Hi, I'm woring in 24.3.0 BETA (build 38) and I can not access the search field in the Projects panel at times; it's inactive and I can not type in my query. Is this a bug or do I need to toggle something on? This function works without issue with the same project in the non-beta release. Thank you!

@152west The Search box will become inactive if the project is still being indexed. If you close and re-open the project does it work? Does it work for other projects?
