This is most likely a bug we have in today's beta build 24.2x25 in the Essential Graphics panel (please check the About dialog to see if this is your installed build). We are working on a fix

I also experienced insta-crash when opening a project in build 25. I've now updated to build 27 and the problem seems to have been fixed 😁.

In you Creative Cloud Desktop application you should see the option to update to the latest beta build. No need to go to build 27. Just the latest build should get you out of the bug. For me it says up to date, but you should be able to update there.
