It's not working here either. Win 11-23H2, Beta PP 25.2.0 b90.

However, there is a 'Fit' option under View/Magnification which does work. (just type in 'fit' and scroll down a bit). It also has the advantage of zooming the Source monitor to fit.

I'm aware of the other Fit commands, but they require the Monitor panel to be active. My hope is that hte new one, being under Application, will work whatever panel is active.

I wish we had the same functionality for Bypass Lumetri Color. I hate that the panel must be active for that one to work. Too many clicks!

Has it ever worked? I thought all program monitor related shortcuts need panel focus. I wish Premiere Pro would use a more modern approach to shortcuts where they would function based on mouse position. It means that functions like zoom to fit could be generalized to a single keyboard shortcut for Source- and Program monitor but also your timeline panel.

I think it's new, so it hasn't not worked before. I hasn't existed until now, AFAIK.

Upvoted; not working. The new application-wide shortcuts are exciting. I'm almost always in the timeline when I want to set the Program Monitor back to fit.

Now to get it to work....

Updated to Build 96. New application-wide Zoom Program Monitor to Fit still doesn't work. I did not say before: as expected, the old Program Monitor Panel shortcut Zoom Monitor to Fit still works and only with focus in the Program Monitor.

FWIW: The Zoom Program/Source Monitor to Fit are under the View category, but not available on the View Menu, like say magnification.
