Both Beta and non-beta version of Premiere Pro are missing the "display the project item name and item label color for all instances" under file > project settings when working with "Productions". This sucks because there's a cool plugin called "Labels Pro" that lets you easily color label items in Pr, but it doesn't work in Productions since Productions doesn't have the "display the project item name and item label color for all instances" option. Read about it here: https://rendertom.gitbook.io/labelsppro/known-issues#targeting-sequence-clips-does-not-work

Please add "Display the project item name and label color for all instances" to Productions.

That isn't a "bug", it's by design.

They looked at probable workflows, and realized with 20 editors working through an episodic situation, each one having their own color schema for lables ... it would be a nightmare.

You're working away, and suddenly your timeline label colors change because some other editor took over a sequence in a different project file of that production and implemented their color scheme. And some of the clips in your current project are in their sequence.

Not ... good.

Yes I agree but not everyone uses Productions as a team, Productions is very useful for single editors, which is why the "display the project item name and item label color for all instances" should be included as an option. Teams could uncheck it for their projects and single editors and enable it for theirs.

Sure ... I work as a one-man shop, so I use a single Productions per year now. Wouldn't mind the option myself.

It would be a request through their UserVoice system. Go ahead, make it (and see if anyone else has already asked). Then post a link back here, I'll be happy to upvote it.
