File name on export adds production name

In Beta 26 build 12, I am getting the problem that crops up now and again. When exporting, the Production name gets appended to the front of the file name.

This bug seems to come and go. It's back.

Testing in 26.0x12, with the following steps, I can't reproduce the issue. What am I missing?

  • New production.
  • Import media into default Production project.
  • Make a sequence (in default project) from media.
  • File --> Export, accept all defaults

Result: No prepended Production name, in output file; just the source sequence name.

I just tried the same process you outlined.

Same result as I described. Production name added in front of file name.

Bizarre.
Are you on Windows?
If you specify a different (completely arbitrary) destination directory, then successfully export, then try to export a sequence from within a Production project, does the Production name once again get prepended?

I'm on Mac.

I tried what you suggested. It did cause this behavior to stop. This seems to pop up only after updating to a new beta version. The next time I update I will try the directory switch trick.

Thanks for the help.
