So I work nearly totally in Productions, using a Production per year for my small mostly one-person operation.
But how do you recommend migrating a Production forward?
Last year I created a new Production, then manually created my main folder structure, then created new project files for all the projects I wanted to carry forward, and of course used MediaBrowser to import/ingest the previous Production's projects into the new one.
Is that really the only main way to do this?
@Bruce Bullis ... anyone?

Hi Neil,
Premiere will actually update versions for you. Just open the production in the new version. Ppro will auto detect it needs updating and create a new production folder with the original folder name add the new version in the title. Then it copies and automatically updates every project inside the original folder to the new folder. So once it is done, you are good to go and don't have to worry about any other management.

And by copying, you mean it leaves the prior Production's structure and projects alone? So work could continue in them if needed?
