on the premiere beta, is there anyway to save the settings, every daily update resets this

there's daily updates that reset my custom keyboard shortcuts and other settings i've adjusted, is there a way to sync this or save this across each daily update?

I don't recall the Beta resetting preferences automatically. But I always reset preferences, cache, and plugins when I install an updated Beta. There are times where the changes in the program result in such resets, however.

But your question is the excellent one of how you ensure a good backup/restore of your key settings. And there are recent threads that convince me there is no easy answer to that. (In a quick search, I did not find any of them.) The simple part of it is to backup the whole documents/Adobe directory (Windows), which includes keyboard shortcuts etc.

For example, for Windows, custom keyboard shortcuts are here:

C:\Users\[User]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\[version number]\Profile-[User]\Win

Text style presets are here:

C:\Users\[User]\Documents\Adobe\Common\Assets\Text Styles
