premiere text panel transcript crashes

Hello,  the text window goes empty when I clic on transcript... tryed to reset preference and cache (alt+shift on lauch), deleted cache, it worked 2-3 times but now same painfull problem again, the text window goes empty when I clic on transcript, can't do anything.

I tried to import an other srt file but I can't split rows or add captions, only edit existing captions, bit annoying.

using premiere cc 22.0 built 169

Version 22.0.0 Build 169 is the Release version. Note that you are posting in the Beta forum.

There are other users reporting the problem with the empty text window. I don't know of a workaround.

I am not experiencing the problem with splitting/adding in the release version. There is a bug in the current/recent Beta regarding the split and merge buttons. See this thread regarding the use of the split/merge keyboard commands. Does that help?
