AUDIO PROBLEMS / Static Sounding Voice and Voiceovers

All of a sudden -- my voice on some of the clips and any voiceovers I do -- is very static sounding and distorted sounding. Everything always sounded great before. I record on my I Phone 7 but edit on my MacBook air. I record voiceovers directly into the mac with no external mic. I had the mac mic checked out today. It's fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled RU -- the problem is still there. Help Please!

    I'm having the same issue. I have tried editing the sound in Audition and other programs but even though it sounds fine in the other programs when I import it back to Premiere Rush it sounds like staticky chipmunks! How do I fix this?!!!!!

    Hi there, @robmdavis,

    I read that you are having problems with imported audio. What are your export settings in Audition? Are you exporting a .wav in 48 kHz? Let the community know. Sorry for the frustration.

    The Audition settings are unimportant. No matter what program I use to adjust the sound when it imports back into Rush it's like Robotic Chimpunks. It's obviously something with Rush. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem with the program?
