How possible is it to use the lightweight Rush instead of Pro to capture video from a DSLR on pc?

EugeneBotha,

Definitely. Just copy the footage from your DSLR to your PC and import it. Should be great! Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Kevin

Copying footage is not capturing through the software itself and using the camera as just an input device. I didn't ask how a file transfer works.

Hi EugeneBotha!

Sorry for the confusion, there was no mention of using the DSLR as an input in your original post!

Currently, Rush doesn't support the use of any external devices on a PC or on the mobile device. The capture mode accesses the built-in camera on mobile devices. You cannot capture video through Rush on a PC. To use footage from a DSLR, you'll have to perform a file transfer into Rush on your PC.

Cheers! Have an awesome day.
