Question

Determine the frame rate of your timeline

Hello, as I live in Europe, I'd rather work in 25fps. I needed an editing software on the go,

if I cannot set my frame rate this premiere Ru is just a useless waste of time.

And no, it did not adjust itself to the original clip's frame rate...

Thank you.

Hi @Safy_8666,

Thanks for the question. If you don't mind me asking, what was the frame rate of the original clip? The sequence frame rate is supposed to be determined by the first clip added to the sequence. There is no access to sequence settings, so if it does not conform to 25fps, and it is the first clip you edited into the Timeline, then it is a bug. I have not heard of this being a problem in the past, as Rush is supposed to handle this common video format. I'll ask the team if they can try a test from their end.

If you are on an iOS device, feel free to test out the new mobile video editing app, Project Violet. Sorry for the problem!

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin thank you for reaching out (so fast).

my clip is 25fps. It is a clip I shot & edited.

Before posting my question, I've read a similar post, with the same answer- Ru will set the frame rate according to the first clip added.

so....

it is a bug

i even changed my iPad camera setting to pal & restarted the whole process just to be sure that the iPad engine knows we are in Europe...
