Editing titles on iphone x

I'm trying to edit one of the adobe titles provided in Rush on my iphone x, but it's not bringing up my keyboard. It's highlighted in blue and the "cursor line" will appear but my keyboard doesn't pop up. I've deleted the app and I'm currently reinstalling it. Any suggestions? Is this a Rush bug?

    Follow-up: the title editor worked when I re-installed the app and powered my phone off / on.
