How do I edit on iPad, and then open in Premiere Pro on my PC?

So can someone tell me, with the removal of Synced files on Creative Cloud, how do I export a project on Premiere Rush on my iPad, and then finish of the edit on my PC in Premiere Pro. I get there is no sync now, but I can't even see how to export the project from my iPad manually and transfer to my PC. Surely, this can still be done somehow?

HI @gordon robb, Hello @Impeccable_ID,

There is a method for moving projects from the mobile device to the desktop app. If that might be a workaround for you, check out this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-rush-discussions/how-to-move-rush-files-from-mobile-to-desktop/m-p/14508834#M21548,

Let the community know if that works for you!

Thanks,
Kevin

My work around was to stop using Rush to edit videos on my iPad. I now either do complete edits on iPad using a non-adobe programme, or edit fully on PC using Premiere.

Hi @gordon robb,

I read your note. Unfotunately, as I understand it, no sync means that there is no sync between devices, as well as, no project back up to the Cloud. I apologize for that. As a Rush fan and user, I don't like this news either. I hope the team can come up with a solution.

Thanks,

Kevin

I'm not looking to backup, or sync. I just want to take the project from my iPad, to files, or an external drive for example, and then load it on my PC. There's no way to do this?

Hey Gordon,

Thanks for the question. I do understand. Sad to say, but no. Rush doesn't use standard project files, so there is currently no way to move projects from one device to another without sync. Sounds like a great feature request,, though. In my opinion, an FCP XML export option would be a perfectly workable stopgap measure. I will let the team know (I am in support  and not on the dev team, sorry). I apologize for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin
