I can't find any pictures or videos in Premiere Rush

Help please I have Premiere Rush downloaded on my Macbook but when I nothing is showing in my pictures library when I try to open a picture or video.  When I click on a video and choose edit in Premiere Rush the app opens but the video does not.  What am I missing?

    Hi @Elizabeth30095775x3yu,

    Thanks for the note. It sounds like you are having trouble accessing media on your MacBook's native photo library. I don't think that is supported. Try to export the desired images to a separate folder. Can you access them then? Try this also with any video files and let us know how it goes.

    Thank you I am also new to Mac so I will need to figure out how to export to a separate folder.   I have them in a seperate album but I am sure that is not a folder.  I really appreiate the help.
