No sound on Macbook pro speakers with Rush

I have just started using Rush. I added sound to my first clip but could not hear the sound. I changed from my internal speakers to my Sonos system and the sound is fine. I have found many posts from people with the same problem but cannot find a single satifactory solution. The sound is there, sound works fine from every other program, sound plays to another sound system but nothing to my internal speakers.
