Spent all day working on a project (ON A DEADLINE). Almost done and suddenly out of the blue, the project cannot find my media files. I did not move them. I try to reconnect the path and the media will show up in the Project Assets file, but won't show up in the time line. I'd literally have to re-edit the whole thing over again. What is up with this? Does anyone know how to fix this ? Has this ever happened to anyone.

Hello @steves28059447,
I got your note. Odd that your media went offline without warning. I wonder what happened there. Can you right click on clips in the Timeline and reconnect them with the original media that way? Let the community know. Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello, I also couldn't not find my files. It's as though they disappeared. I see the file names but cannot open anything.

Hey there, mb,
Thanks for writing in. Welcome to the Adobe Premiere Rush forums!
Perhaps you renamed your media folder or moved it to another drive, or the clips were located on Creative Cloud, but the service was discontinued in February. If it is an older project, the latter could be the case.
Have you tried right-clicking on each clip and choosing "Find and Connect"? That way, you can reconnect any files that lost their linked media.
I hope the advice helps. Let us know how we can further help. Sorry for the frustration.
Take Care,
Kevin
