Black screen issue is fixed after I updated the app with new version 2.11.0.14.

Thanks, Kevin! I turned off all HDR settings on the clips before importing them into Rush, and it worked. I’m relieved this solved the issue, but it would be great to see Rush upgraded to support HDR and other settings seamlessly. Thanks again, Kevin!

Hi @azunkm,

Edit: Update Rush. A new version fixes this issue.

Thanks,
Kevin

My Rush app too is only showing a black screen when I import a video, while the audio works fine. For weeks now, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it still doesn’t work. I’ve also seen comments here about version 2.11, but the most recent version available for my iPhone 13 Pro Max in the App Store is 2.10. This is extremely frustrating, especially as a paid subscriber.

Hi @TeeeEdits,

Thanks for the post. You can adjust Camera Settings. Turn off HDR and any settings for "spatial audio." The files should work fine afterward. Let us know if that worked, please.

2.10 is the current version on desktop. On my iOS device it reads 2.10 (1), so there is a slight discrepancy there. No 2.11 version is out that I am aware of.

Sorry for the issue.

Cheers,
Kevin

As a fellow Rush user, I would love to see that too. Have you checked out the beta of Project Violet yet? It's on the app store for iOS. It's very cool. I'd be curious to get your feedback.

Cheers,
Kevin
