I'm not sure if it was the newest update, or one before this newest one. but I'm no longer able to render any videos successfully. even if I make no changes and just try and export. I used to be able to render 5 minute videos in just a few minutes. now it takes hours to get to 30 some percent and then get stuck. I'm using a Google pixel running the newest Android

Hi @x-e.ro,
I read about your problem. Check the system requirements for your phone. If the device is not listed but Rush still works, you might try checking the settings for your camera phone. Avoid 8K and HDR formats. Try shooting simple H.264 files; you should have fewer problems exporting. Let us know if the idea works.
Thanks,
Kevin

I have a similar problem on my Pixel. Recording in 1080p 30fps (not HDR). Stops rendering at various percentages. Actually worse than useless due to the complete waste of time editing a video that can't be rendered... Hope Adobe fixes this

Hi @Dalseide,
Do system requirements support your device? Do you have a long sequence? Do you have many effects applied? I hope we can help you.
Cheers,
Kevin

Don't Know about the system requirements. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro. Does this, or will this, phone support this app? The sequence is 59 seconds long, includes multiple audio files, and videos with different framerates and codecs. But I've tried rendering several different single 15 second clips too, without luck. No effects applied.

Hi @Dalseide,
I'm Kevin from support, one of the mods here. I apologize for any errors. I am not on the product team, but I will try to help you.
I am unsure why Android phones have been problematic lately, especially those not covered under system requirements. Have you updated Android lately? It has a beta version of the OS out now, so it might be that. Can you also try shooting H.264 instead of HEVC? Many people have better luck editing with video files that do not have a variable frame rate that is too far from the base settings. You can transcode them in Handbrake or Shutter Encoder. That may also help.
Here you go: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/system-requirements.html
Sorry for the hassle.
Thanks,
Kevin

The same problem with Pixel 8.

Same pixel 8 pro. I've tried all different settings and video files, my video is 15 seconds long.... Disappointed, I'm paying a lot a month for Adobe full suite.

I have same problem with my pixel 6. Even 20 second video exporting doesn't work. And I have latest android and latest app.

That's weird, @smu_4984. Do you have a sample clip to share?

Hey @Kevin-Monahan
I am also on a Pixel 6 and i am unable to export the video i edited.
The videos were reccorded with my phone camera, so its mp4, but unsure of the file codec. Total lenght of the edited project is around 2min 30sec. all i did was taking two videos and then cutting down the video to remove dead air, and shorten it for social media purposes. no effects, no additionnal audio, just the video, edited down to be shorter.
Im having the same issue as anyone else in this thread: the video will not render. the render stays stuck 0-1% (ive gotten an attemp to 5%, but thats the furthest it will go).
Is there any way i can share the project to myself on my computer or something? so i can render it on my computer and export it there? or somehow save the work ive done on the editing and recuperate this project somehow, without having to start from scratch?

Have you found a solution? I have the same issue... I'm also on a Pixel 6. I own a Pixel 8 too but decided to work on this one. There should be a warning when you install the app that your device might not be supported even if the app works just fine. Just spent a whole day editing a short film that now won't render 🤷🏻:male_sign:

I'm concerned for the lack of support for this issue. The problem is still happening. I have a new android phone pixel 8 pro, should not be struggling with this.

Thanks for writing in. I apologize for the lack of support. It is unacceptable that people like you are having severe problems exporting on Android devices. That isn't cool! I raised the priority of this bug here at the mothership, so I hope shortly we'll see some update (or at least a workaround) for editors such as yourself.
Once again, I am so sorry this is happening. Rest assured, I am on the case Have a great day ahead.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello @x-e.ro, @cisco_codes, @ManMen, @theweirdlobster, @thesprangus,
Thanks for writing in. I apologize for the bad behavior on specific Android devices (and certain iPhones, too).
Apologies, I am in support and cannot access Android or newer iOS devices to test with. I only have my phone to test with, an iPhone XS Max, which works reliably with Rush. I will deliver feedback based on your posts here. Thanks so much for your input and cooperation on behalf of the team and Adobe.
I have the team's attention on this issue. I hope to update this thread as soon as possible on getting your device to work reliably with Rush.
Thanks,
Kevin

I always render a lot with rush on my mobile phone, a Pixel 7 pro.
Since about a month it always get stuck at about 2%, while I have been doing this for years and it always went smoothly.
Something changed?
Thank you,
Kathleen

Thanks for the reply. That's weird, @kathleen29652010m3w6, though I have seen others have the same issue. The engineers can't reproduce this error. Can you try shooting in H.264 instead of HEVC? Some people seem to be having trouble with the HEVC format lately. As a fellow Rush user, I do hope I can help you! If you can furnish the community with more details, I hope we can help you better. Let us know. Sorry for the problem.
Cheers,
Kevin

Hi,
I checked my settings and it appears that I am shooting in H264.
Is there a way to generate an error message by Rush?

Thanks for the reply. You can "share" a log in Settings > Preferences on iOS. Do you have the same capability in Android? I hope to help you.
Thanks,

Adobe Rush: 2.10.0.11

Hello @oberramirez
Sorry for the problem. It might be a problem with your media. Rush hasn't been updated lately to accept some of the newer formats. On behalf of Adobe, I am sorry about that.
You can try shooting some clips in H.264 (and not HEVC). Let me know if you can export these clips as expected. I hope this works.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hola Kevin, los clips que he grabado y usados estan en codec H264 como le informe en mi primer mensaje. Por lo que tu respuesta no me ayuda en mi problema.

I appreciate the reply and for reporting the outcome of your test. Sorry. I can't think of what else might be the problem. Maybe the Android version makes a difference. You can contact support to see if they can assist: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html. Ask for the video queue. Please let us know what they say.
Thanks,
Kevin

I’ve purchased a premium version of adobe rush just to upload my vlogs in high quality and to make myself hassle free from desktop sitting, I've edited my entire vlog on rush and when I'm exporting it, it goes to rendered up to 7% and then crashes, also I've tried uploading it to YouTube directly but there it shows, "File not supported error"
anyone who's been through similar situation?
