Premier Rush freeze error

At some point, after running the program and clicking on the folder containing the video, the program stopped responding and automatically closed. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, and even resetting my preferences, but nothing has worked.

    I read about your problem. Sounds very frustrating. Can you please give us full details about your computer system and the media you are using? If you are using a mobile device, let us know that detai, along with the OS. Make sure you are using the latest version of Rush by updating it. I hope the community can help you.

    I'm using Windows and version is 11 Home. The extension I was using for editing was MOV, shot on my iPhone.

    Here's what I remember about the process of getting the error.

     

    1. when I edited a video and saved it after rendering, the other videos in the file containing the video were not recognized and an error occurred (intermittent, but more importantly).

     

    2. the error persisted when I turned the program off and on again, and when I accessed the path containing the footage on the first screen, Premiere Rush went to unresponsive and then turned itself off.

     

    For the record, it doesn't seem to be a capacity issue, and I think there's some kind of log in the program. If the video with the error is called X, and the video included in the same path as X is called Y. If X and Y were recognized together, the error occurred even if Y was included alone.

      Interesting. Thanks for the info, @Walker342742507ei8. I'm having a similar issue in Premiere Pro. It may have to do with this media, perhaps its .mov wrapper. I wonder if you tested with clips where you changed the name temporarily to .mp4 if it would work or not. I'm going to try that as soon as I can. I'll let you know what I find.
