Premiere Rush CC freezing

Question

When I am editing a video in Rush, and I use the playback module, after a few minutes, the playback stops working. I am unable to use the buttons to navigate to previous/next edit points, previous/next frames, and play/pause. The application hangs, then is unresponsive so I force quit.

I have tried un-installing and re-installing the software, as well as restarting my computer. The application and my system are both up to date. I use macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I also tried starting a new project from scratch and the same thing happened.

Please help! I've been able to export two other videos before this started happening while editing a third video project.

Could you share more info to determine the issue?Which version of Premiere Rush are you using? https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-rush/finding-the-premiere-rush-version-number/m-p/4788185What type of media files you're working on (codec/ format, frame rate, frame size)?Can you try clearing you preferences on launch? Option key (Mac OS) while launching Rush. You can release the Option key when the splash screen appears.Let us know how it goes. Thanks,Kartika
