Hello there,

I am new to adobe rush and have been failing terribly in adding a music file to it.

The music I download through apple music shows up in my adobe rush app but it is faded and shows 0 kb, so Im not able to select it and add.

i have checked my settings as well, I have turned sync music on in settings and automatic downloads as well. Further I have allowed permissions of apple music in adobe rush setting as well.

please guide where am I lacking as this app is of no use to me if this issue remains.

thanks

Hi,

Due to the existence of DRM protection mechanism, files you download from Apple Music cannot be played in Premiere Rush. It is better to used music that is royalty free or that is licensed through a stock footage or stock music agency.

Thanks,
Kevin

This happened recently while my sister was working on a Rush project; she purchaed a song title and tried accessing it through the app, to no avail. It finally worked when she downloaded the song as .mp3 and added it in as a regular asset.
