RUSH APP KEEPS CRASHING

I've spent the past three hours editing a video and now I can't even open it. It keeps saying "Unable to open project". As I read through all of the comments it looks like i'm not the only one and this is happening to almost everyone?? What is going on and when will it be fixed? Do I have to start my project over again or is my work saved? Please advise.
