Question

Rush keeps crashing when I try to create a new project with videos

I bought a new laptop and downloaded Adobe Premiere Rush again to edit videos that I make, but I have problems actually getting the videos into a project. Whenever I attempt to import a video, the app freezes and then crashes. This only happens with videos and I can import png images normally, but whenever I open my folder with my videos, the app crashes. It even does this with the sample media that come with Rush.

Hi, was this ever resolved?  My coworker and myself have new computers of the same model and the exact same issue is happening with ours.  Drivers all up to date.

For issues with Rush desktop, feel free to contact us here. I hope we can help you. Ask for the video queue from the chat pod on the lower right.

Thanks,
Kevin

Try updating GPU drivers, @JavierBB. You want the studio drivers, not the game-ready ones. Then, report back. I hope it works!

Thanks,
Kevin

I tried to update them but Rush kept crashing even after updating them. I might've not done it right though.

Try a clean installation of the studio driver from the NVIDIA site: https://www.howtogeek.com/clean-install-nvidia-amd-graphics-drivers/

See if that works for you, @JavierBB!

Thanks,
Kevin
